Job Title: Senior Civil Project Managers

Description:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in road construction, maintenance, and/or upgrade projects delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil road and transport infrastructure planning, design, developing schedules, and construction.
  • Sound fundamental understanding of earthworks, drainage, pavement rehabilitation, timber and concrete bridge rehabilitation, culvert structure remediation, electrical, ITS, landscape, and urban design, pavements (asphalt, bound and unbound), bituminous surfacing, road furniture, and retaining walls.
  • Lead a team to execute an element of the project life cycle – completed planning studies, detailed designs, construction contracts;
  • Time & Cost Estimating, Developing Budgets, Documentation, Creating Charts and Schedules, Risk Analysis, Managing Risks and Issues Strategic Influencing;
  • Exposure & understanding of TMR policies, standards & specifications;
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritizing;
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships;
  • Computer literacy, in established industry programs;
  • Well-developed organising and problem-solving skills;
  • High attention to detail, Controlling Quality, Monitoring and Reporting Progress;
  • Working with Vendors & Community Consultation;
  • Committed to HSE & QA Policies and procedures.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification accepted by Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust);
  • A valid driver's license and own mobile phone. Own laptop helpful;
  • A right to work in Australia, well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills, and a current driver's license.
