About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team at Uniting NSW.ACT. As a Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, empowering them to live their day, their way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily living assistance with showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes, and with general mobility
  • Assist with medication and simple wound dressings
  • Laundry and cleaning
  • Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities
Requirements
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or an equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you're studying or have recently become qualified
  • Adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful with a commitment to Uniting's values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold
