Traveling Healthcare Professionals Wanted for Short-Term Contracts

We are seeking Registered Nurses and Midwives for short-term contracts in Southern NSW. These positions offer a unique opportunity to travel Australia while working.

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is up to $54.56 per hour, plus superannuation. Additionally, meal allowances are available, and domestic travel and shared accommodation will be arranged by our Client.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for Registered Nurses with experience in the following areas:
- ED/Triage/ALS
- General Surgical/Medical
- Mental Health
- Sub-Acute Rehabilitation
- Oncology
- Renal
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing safe and efficient nursing care to maximize effective customer outcomes.
- Assisting, supporting, and guiding the education, clinical placement, and development of Enrolled Nurses and fellow Registered Nurses.
- Fostering an atmosphere conducive to open communication, problem-solving, and team building.
- Promoting evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement within the ward/unit.
- Participating in health care planning, practice, and evaluation.
- Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with patients, carers, and other healthcare team members/colleagues regarding nursing care.
- Practicing in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's professional standards, Code of Conduct, and CORE values.
- Actively promoting and participating in patient safety and ongoing quality improvement programs and engaging in practices that promote the best possible health outcomes for patients/clients, and supports a culture of patient safety, clinical quality, and innovation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge, and ability relevant to the area within an acute hospital setting.
- Demonstrated experience in the relevant field.
- Proven clinical problem-solving skills to maximize patient care.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome-based care.
- Demonstrated high-level clinical practice.
- Availability to work rotating shifts during the morning, evening, and overnight.
