Job Title: Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tradesperson to join our team as a Wall and Floor Tiler.

  • Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry.
  • Conduct efficient communication in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle floor tiling materials and equipment with care.
  • Plan, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, laying out work efficiently.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications accurately.
  • Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, cement, and adhesives.
  • Fill all holes and cracks, then thoroughly clean surfaces.
  • Attach tiles to surfaces using correct adhesive, ensuring patterned tiles match.
  • Use tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges, corners, or around obstacles.
  • Space and even the tiles by using tools such as spirit levels, squares, and plumb-lines.
  • Lay floors of cement, granolithic, terrazzo, or similar composition.
  • Repair wall and floor tiles as needed.

Successful candidates will possess a Certificate III trade qualification and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
