Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant.
As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for setting up, serving, and clearing dining rooms, as well as assisting with the preparation and delivery of meals to residents.
You will also be required to maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work surfaces, as well as assist with food service as directed by the Cook.

Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience in Aged Care (preferred)
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Knowledge and understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hazard identification
- Prior training or experience in food safety
- Good communication skills
- The ability to follow kitchen cleaning schedules
- Reliable and hardworking
- Strong WH&S awareness
