We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Mental Health Professionals or Wellbeing Clinicians in Mount Isa, Normanton, Doomadgee, or Mornington Island. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset while working with a broad range of clients, including children and adults, older persons, and those experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver assessment, care planning, treatment, and intervention services, as well as psycho-social supports, in-home support, and other practical supports within the community.
- Implement and lead projects to support the mental health and wellbeing of our clients and the community.
- Provide direct client support to adults, youth, children, and families, including NDIS support, carers support, transport, in-home support, and social support.
- Liaise with community to plan, deliver, and evaluate program-specific wellbeing services and community education activities, in accordance with organisational and program funding guidelines.
- Accredited Mental Health Social Worker or Social Worker registration with AASW.
- Aboriginal Health Worker or relevant qualifications.
- Lived experience, including as a carer.
- High-level communication and negotiation skills to establish and support respectful and trusting relationships with individuals, teams, and the community.
- Excellent starting salary ranging from $52,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Annual leave loading of 17.5%.
- 5 weeks annual leave.
- Relocation Assistance.
