About The Role

We are looking for a Key Worker to deliver interventions to NDIS participants (specifically children aged 0-8) and their families that lead to positive, life-changing outcomes in Peninsula and surrounding areas.

This position is full-time or part-time (4 days per week). Availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments is essential, as this is the most highly requested time for Key Workers to provide therapy to their participants.

Your Everyday

As a Key Worker at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. You will work and deliver therapy in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, and community centres. You will work collaboratively with a kinder teacher at a preschool to support a child to develop their motor skills, coach parents through finding a school that best suits their young child's needs, and work collaboratively with a Speech Pathologist and family members to support a child to develop their communication and social skills.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for individuals who resonate with our values and can seamlessly integrate into our dynamic environment. To work as a Key Worker, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and registration. You will also need minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families, demonstrated experience working with children with disability, a positive and flexible approach to work, strong communication skills and be a team player, commitment to personal and professional growth, a valid Australian drivers license, NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working with Childrens Check, and availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments.
