We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Environmental Scientist to join our team at EBR. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

**Key Responsibilities**

Conducting and supervising field work, including:

  • Contaminated site investigations
  • Hazmat and asbestos investigations
  • Site remediation management
  • Groundwater investigations
  • Acid sulphate soil investigations
  • Waste classification

Assisting in the preparation of tenders for a range of projects, including:

  • Environmental impact assessments
  • Environmental monitoring and reporting
  • Environmental management plans

**Requirements**

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 1-2 years experience as an Environmental Scientist or Environmental Engineer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Valid Australian driver's license

Experience in hazardous materials survey, and/or an asbestos assessor's license is ideal but not essential.
