Role Overview

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 1-2 years experience as an Environmental Scientist or Environmental Engineer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Valid Australian driver's license

Our client is seeking an energetic and motivated Junior Environmental Scientist to conduct and supervise field work, reporting and assist in the preparation of tenders on a range of projects.

About the Projects:

  • Contaminated site investigation
  • Hazmat and asbestos investigation
  • Site remediation management
  • Groundwater investigation
  • Acid sulphate soil investigation
  • Waste classification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting and supervising field work
  • Reporting and assist in the preparation of tenders on a range of projects

Key Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Experience in hazardous materials survey, and/or an asbestos assessor's license ideal but not essential
