Job Title: National Sales Manager Australia

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.
  • Ensure customer and territory activities are in line with the company growth strategy and company business plans.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to monitor performance against targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the renewable energy, power generation, or industrial automation industry.
  • Working knowledge and experience in the power generation field, including experience with diesel and gas generator control systems, and an understanding of hybrid systems including battery and solar.
  • ComAp (or similar) product knowledge and system design experience.
  • An understanding of electrical systems and electrical power system design and interpretation, including the ability to read Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
  • An understanding of grid protections.
  • Familiarity with technical specifications and commercial conditions in tender documents, costing, and bid preparation.
  • Proven track record of managing a team to exceed sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to interpret market data and formulate effective sales strategies.
  • A current driver's license.
  • A valid passport (for occasional overseas travel).
