About the Role:

This permanent graduate position is based in Renmark, South Australia, supporting and implementing agronomy programs and innovation projects to enhance crop productivity, quality and sustainability.

The successful candidate will take on dedicated responsibilities within our Citrus category, working under the guidance and mentorship of experienced colleagues and leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crop planning, pest and disease management, irrigation and soil management to optimize yields and reduce environmental impact.
  • Conduct field trials to evaluate new crop varieties, fertilizers, pesticides and techniques to improve crop performance.
  • Monitor crop health and diagnose issues related to pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies and environmental factors.
  • Analyze data on crop performance and yield to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement post-harvest techniques to maintain freshness and reduce spoilage.
  • Participate in harvest planning, coordination and supervision to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Develop skills in product quality control, understanding the effects of defects on quality scores.
