The Role of a Clinical Trials Social Worker is to provide senior clinical leadership and supervision within the social work service provision.

This involves optimising patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff and students on clinical placements.
  • Support the professional development of staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient/client outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Holds a Bachelor or post-graduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the relevant association.
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill, and significant clinical experience in the provision of social work services.
  • Current certification in a relevant area of practice.
