Data Administrator/Medical Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Administrator/Medical Receptionist to join our BreastScreen Service team in Geelong. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service to patients by maintaining accurate records and information, contributing to early detection of cancer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and represent our organization professionally.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously.
  • Check and process client and clinical information accurately.
  • Provide BreastScreen results in a timely manner.
  • Process, file, and retrieve confidential data from screening sites.
  • Transfer images to referring doctors and specialists.
  • Perform breast screening-specific medical typing (training provided).
About You
  • Experience in Medical Administration.
  • Interpersonal skills to show care, compassion, and empathy to patients.
  • Understanding of medical imaging terminology.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent keyboard skills for data entry into RIS system.
Additional Information

This is a 24-hour per week position, working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
