Job Overview

Our organization seeks a seasoned financial professional to assume the role of Senior Financial Accountant.

This position oversees financial accounting activities across business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data for strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare and reconcile monthly BAS returns for group companies.
  • Assist in preparing annual FBT returns.
  • Support preparation of yearly tax schedules and tax-effect accounting.
  • Coordinate and prepare accurate monthly financial reports.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance of individual operating activities.
  • Contribute to preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger and intercompany accounts.
  • Assist with year-end account preparation and resolve audit-related issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, supported by a professional qualification such as CPA or CA.
  • Experience in accounting role within freight forwarding or multinational logistics organization preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, with solid track record of accuracy and compliance.
  • Prior experience with statutory reporting and group consolidations advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes and systems within fast-paced operational environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, conveying financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
