We are seeking a highly skilled Warranty and Insurance Specialist to join our team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) organization, you will be responsible for managing warranty claims, insurance claim management, and product support and assurance agreements.
Key Responsibilities- Warranty Management - Collaborate with E&M, Supply Chain, and other E&M departments to ensure effective warranty claim management.
- Capture warranty claims for Airframe, Engine, and Components, and ensure they are raised, followed up, and processed in accordance with vendor concessions.
- Manage attributes to part, including contract life cycle management, identification of customer entitlement, performance objectives, defects, AOG events, delays, and cancellations.
- Perform real-time analysis and control of product support entitlement based on communications, service bulletins, and letters.
- Develop subject matter expertise of VA's rights and privileges under Product Support and Assurance Agreements (PSAA) with various OEMs.
- Manage informational campaigns to increase awareness for warranty and insurance rights and privileges within the E&M organization.
- Identify and review all potential insurance claimable events.
- Liaise with VA's internal insurance team to understand and familiarize with VA's rights and privileges in relation to insurance rights.
- Professional qualifications in procurement and supply chain or significant experience in complex goods and services supply chain/procurement combined with strong evidence of delivery.
- Thorough understanding of CASA and EASA airworthiness requirements.
- Sound computer literacy, with an understanding of aviation MRO Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.
- Proven experience in negotiating and influencing external and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to meet and hold ASIC requirements.
- Prior experience in an aerospace maintenance environment.
- Qualifications with a business/commerce or law focus.
