Leadership Position: Development Assessment

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to lead a team of planners in the assessment of development applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and reporting on all forms of development applications and modification applications, as well as liaising with the public and developers.

The selected candidate will also supervise the investigation, evaluation, and reporting of all applications, assist and mentor development planners and staff in processing and assessing development applications and modification applications, and interpreting planning issues and legislation.

The key requirements for this position include a degree or diploma qualification in town planning, regional or urban planning recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia or related discipline, extensive experience in development assessment, and strong leadership and communication skills.
