**Job Title:** Seafood Merchandising Representative

This exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Seafood Merchandising Representative.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing seafood capability within grocery store deli teams by providing training, coaching, and in-store support. The role ensures compliance with food safety and store standards, enhances customer engagement, and drives sales performance through improved product knowledge and merchandising execution.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver hands-on training to store managers, deli managers, and deli teams on seafood species, merchandise standards, product handling, food safety, and customer service excellence.
  • Monitor and support adherence to Tassal and retailer standards, ensuring consistent execution of merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Analyse sales data to identify performance opportunities and implement targeted initiatives to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with store managers and deli teams to influence positive results and encourage collaboration.
  • Utilise CRM and reporting tools to document store visits, track training outcomes, and highlight sales opportunities.
  • Travel to various sites across Melbourne and regional VIC, with flexibility to operate across multiple locations throughout the week.
What You'll Need:
  • A strong retail or deli operations background, ideally within seafood or fresh categories.
  • Effective trainer and coach with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Professional, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM experience preferred.
