Trade Measurement Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Trade Measurement Officer.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government investigations and trade measurement legislation, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team, applying and explaining legislation in a regulatory environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring trade measurement staff, establishing local inspection priorities, and planning and implementing compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading and mentoring trade measurement staff
- Establishing local inspection priorities
- Planning and implementing compliance programs
- Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing technical advice
- Investigating breaches of trade measurement legislation
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or equivalent)
- Qualification that demonstrates appropriate knowledge or experience to be appointed as a Trade Measurement Inspector under section 18MA of the National Measurement Act 1960
- Australian driver's licence
