Job Description: Senior Contaminated Land Consultant - Land Quality & Remediation - Brisbane

SLR Consulting is an employee-controlled international environmental consultancy with a globally recognised reputation for providing high quality tailored services.

We are looking for an experienced Contaminated Land Consultant to join our Land Quality and Remediation team in Brisbane.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary consultants to deliver quality contaminated land services to our Queensland and National clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside industry leaders across the region and provide support for technical growth within the wider SLR team.
  • Display confidence and high-level project management, tenders/proposals preparation, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, leading with team resourcing and development, and act as a professional role model for staff across the team with a caring and compassionate nature.

Skills & Experience:

  • A professional qualification in environmental science or engineering or other relevant degree and circa 5 – 10+ years professional experience in consulting or similar industry role.
  • Proven capability in environmental / contamination management (soil and groundwater)/ remediation (soil and groundwater), soil science, preferably in the development, mining and oil and gas sectors.
  • A high level of commercial acumen and proven success in developing winning proposals and client relationship management.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven report writing skills and high computer literacy including data management and manipulation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent driving history and hold a current unrestricted driver's license.
  • Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia.
