Head Horticulturalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Gardener to lead our team in maintaining high-profile gardens and open spaces.

As the Head Gardener, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of garden and open space maintenance at a high-profile Infrastructure client.

• Lead a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Develop and implement schedules and task plans to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
• Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
• Valid White Card.
• Valid Drivers' license.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
