Head Horticulturalist

Permanent full-time position
- 38 hours per week (06.30 am to 02.30 pm, Mon to Fri)
- Bankstown location, public transport close by
- Salary + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates + superannuation

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with leading a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning and fertilising.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
- Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
- Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

**About You**:

- Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
- Valid White Card
- Valid Drivers' license.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
