Opportunity Overview

Our institution is seeking an exceptional Orthodontics Lecturer to join our esteemed academic faculty.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, contributing to outstanding educational design and delivery within our discipline of Orthodontics.

  • Teach and mentor students at all levels in the field of Orthodontics.
  • Design and implement innovative educational units and content that meet curriculum requirements and support student needs.
  • Engage in supervision of research students at undergraduate level, in accordance with university expectations and standards.
  • Apply scholarship and knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practice to innovate Education.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet university expectations and standards.
  2. Contribute to the design and delivery of multi-disciplinary work-integrated learning units and content.
  3. Supervise research students at undergraduate level, ensuring adherence to university protocols and guidelines.
  4. Stay up-to-date with advancements in Orthodontics, incorporating this knowledge into educational design and delivery.
Requirements
  • Registrable dental qualification with the Dental Board of Australia, AHPRA.
  • Specialist Orthodontic qualification recognized by the Dental Board of Australia, AHPRA.
  • Experience in high-quality teaching in Orthodontics for all levels of students.
  • Proven capacity to stimulate, engage, and educate an audience using a range of media.
