Key Responsibilities- Provide midwifery services in health service and community settings.
- Develop from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice.
- Consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience.
- Accept accountability for his or her own standards of nursing/midwifery care and for activities delegated to others.
- Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Support both personally and professionally.
- Take advantage of education and training opportunities.
