Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Program and Project Officers to deliver government programs.

About the Role
  • Provide procedural, administrative and operational support to a work area aiding program delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, policy development and changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders providing advice for consistent program service delivery.

As a Program Officer, your duties may include:

  1. Implementing agency programs.
  2. Liaising and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver program services, increase agency profile and attend interagency meetings and forums.
  3. Providing advice, procedural guidance and administrative support to staff.

  • Required skills: Customer service support, Methods and tools, Project management, Portfolio, program and project support, Quality management.
  • Ability to build relationships, engage diverse groups, understand change and communicate it to staff, collaborate with other staff, research, analyse and make sound decisions, prioritise workload in competing priorities.
About the Project Officer Role

As a Project Officer, your duties may include:

  1. Assisting in project management and coordination activities.
  2. Contributing to the development and management of project plans and schedules according to agency's project management framework.
  3. Contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement.
  4. Providing advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
