Digital Education Specialist

As a Digital Education Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital learning experience of students. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and technology, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
About the Role:
The Digital Education Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality digital technologies programs, researching new software and tools, and planning professional development for staff. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and improve ICT processes and policy, ensuring alignment with the direction of the ICT department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver digital technologies programs that meet curriculum outcomes and are engaging for students
- Research and recommend new software and digital tools to support teaching and learning
- Plan and deliver professional development for staff on digital technologies
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and improve ICT processes and policy
Requirements:
- Current VIT registration
- Understanding of the Victorian Curriculum Digital Technologies F - 10
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 doses)
- Experience in a similar role
