Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and development programs to MSS employees and contractors, focusing on healthcare environment-specific skills.
- Ensure security officers comply with MSS Security and customer requirements, including SLAs.
- Liaise with management and clients to investigate incidents, injuries, or other events at sites.
- Assist management in resolving site issues and conducting disciplinary actions for minor breaches.
- Ensure all personnel adhere to company policies, including Security Officer Standing Instructions and Site Standing Orders.
- Conduct regular site visits to update and maintain Site Operating Procedures.
- Ensure sites have adequate communication equipment and manage radio communications effectively.
- Review sites regularly to ensure procedures align with site risk factors.
- Conduct security and firearms checks in conjunction with period audits.
- Provide guidance and counseling on risk and performance management issues.
- Ensure security officers are correctly uniformed and licensed.
- Deliver uniforms to sites as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting client inquiries and addressing customer dissatisfaction promptly.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Report and recommend solutions for non-compliances affecting service quality.
Employee Engagement
- Identify training and development needs for employees.
- Provide feedback and recognition to employees.
- Rectify employee issues and provide guidance and coaching.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and achieve a positive employee relations environment.
- Provide leadership by example and back-up coverage for shifts in critical situations.
- Attend to site emergencies, incidents, and accidents, and accompany injured workers to medical assistance.
- Complete daily shift reports, including issues, actions, and market intelligence.
- Ensure all mandatory training modules are completed.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
