NXTGIG, a leader in the IT services industry, is seeking an accomplished Chief Cybersecurity Strategist to spearhead our information security efforts. This critical role involves developing and implementing robust security policies and protocols to safeguard our systems and data from emerging threats. As the lead of a team of skilled security professionals, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and identifying vulnerabilities to enhance our security posture through continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Security Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive information security strategies, policies, and procedures that align with industry best practices.
  • Lead and Mentor Security Teams: Oversee and guide a team of security analysts and engineers to ensure effective security practices and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Conduct Regular Security Assessments: Perform regular security audits, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address potential risks.
  • Respond to Security Incidents: Investigate security breaches, coordinate remediation efforts, and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance across all systems.
  • Stay Informed about Emerging Threats: Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and update strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in information security management, preferably as an Information Systems Security Manager.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and guiding diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are highly preferred.
