Boarding Community Leader

Methodist Ladies' College seeks a dynamic and experienced leader to shape the future of our residential community for students in Years 7-12.

About the Role
  • Lead a dedicated team of staff and oversee the care, wellbeing, and academic support of approximately 100 boarders from Australia and around the world.
  • Drive innovation in boarding practices, cultivate a strong sense of belonging, and foster an inclusive, home-away-from-home environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Champion student safety, wellbeing, and learning in a 24/7 residential setting.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and connected boarding community.
  • Build strong partnerships with families, college staff, and external networks.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership in boarding, student wellbeing or residential education.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • A strong understanding of adolescent development and pastoral care.

Child safety is paramount and is the responsibility of all staff.
