Assistant Store Manager Job Description

This is a key position within our store that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for daily operations, driving sales growth, and inspiring your team to achieve excellence. Your primary duties will include:

  • Team Leadership: Develop the next generation of leaders in our stores by training and coaching team members.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, including inventory and minimising losses.
  • Customer Service: Work alongside your team on registers, filling shelves, and merchandising special buys to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance store operations.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the store, helping to keep our customers satisfied.
  • Career Development: Stepping up and running the store whilst the Store Manager is on leave, providing opportunities for career advancement.
