About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and influential leader to head our Risk Culture and Capability function.

  • The successful candidate will make a significant impact by embedding a strong risk culture, enhancing risk awareness and capability across the organisation.
  • They will lead the development and implementation of frameworks and programs that embed risk thinking into every layer of the business.

This role requires a strategic and visionary leader who can drive a proactive and accountable risk culture across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk, compliance, or internal audit and a proven track record of developing and embedding risk culture frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with senior leaders to embed risk thinking into everyday business decisions, strategic planning, and operations
  2. Establish and monitor frameworks and metrics to assess risk culture maturity and identify opportunities for growth
  3. Drive alignment with regulatory requirements, supporting governance and contributing to risk-related reporting
  4. Champion collaboration across teams to embed consistent messaging and shared responsibility for risk management

We are looking for someone with a passion for fostering a resilient, learning-oriented organisation. The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary and postgraduate qualifications in risk, compliance, or leadership and a strong network of contacts within the financial services sector.
