Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

About the Role

As a key player in our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient stock systems are maintained, supporting the team, and facilitating smooth day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock Management: Unpack, label, and organize merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Delivery Processing: Receive and process incoming deliveries, verifying accuracy of items and quantities.
  • Equipment Handling: Operate machinery such as Pallet Jacks, Walkie Stackers, and trolleys with precision and care.
  • Record Keeping: Utilize the Inwards/Outwards Goods Register for all inbound/outbound stock movements.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service and support customers with pickups of their purchased items.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain high standards of store floor and stockroom cleanliness.
About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2–3 years of Retail Storeroom Experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Customer Service Experience, where you can demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to operate machinery like Pallet Jacks, Walkie Stackers, and trolleys. Training will be provided for those who require it.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using Inventory Management Software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Meet physical requirements including lifting up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, and 45kgs with assistance from another team member.
