Clinical Lead in Psychology

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead in Psychology to join our team at the Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading excellence in remote, rural, and Indigenous health.
As a Clinical Lead, you will engage with key community stakeholders and partner organizations to support students, allied health trainees, supervisors, and health services to build a skilled workforce for our region. You will also shape future health professionals and rural health policy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of allied health professionals to deliver high-quality services to rural and remote communities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve access to occupational therapy services and support the centre's mission to improve rural and remote health outcomes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build partnerships and engage with local communities to promote health and wellbeing.
- Provide leadership and guidance to students, allied health trainees, and supervisors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver effective services.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the centre's services are delivered in a safe and effective manner.

Our Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health is part of a national network of 16 University Departments of Rural Health, funded by the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training program as a workforce strategy. We are dedicated to enhancing clinical placements by integrating students into practices, services, organizations, and communities, with a strong emphasis on engaging Indigenous communities.
