Resource Geologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Resource Geologist to join our stable team of experienced and collaborative professionals.

This role is responsible for planning and executing surface drill programs, ensuring timely delivery of results in line with the site drill schedule.

  1. Supervise and support drill rig operations to guarantee successful project completion.
  2. Log and dispatch drill core samples to the lab and review assay results against logging.
  3. Maintain up-to-date geology maps and sections through daily communication with the Project Geologist.
  4. Develop and mentor junior geologists and graduates within the team.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geology (with honours)
  • Minimum one year's industry experience
  • Drill rig supervision skills and drive to achieve success
  • Knowledge of gold deposit geology and mining standards
  • Experience with digital logging to databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of commonly used geology software (QGIS and Leapfrog preferred)
