Operational Exercise Coordinator

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex exercise programs, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery. With a strong understanding of military training operations, you will be responsible for planning, sequencing, and executing exercises to meet Defence requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Exercise Planning: Utilize digital exercise planning software to write and sequence events, incidents, and injects, producing supporting documentation as required.
- Instruction and Training: Provide guidance on planning and execution of exercises, activities, and systems that support them, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to Defence personnel.
- Documentation Management: Ensure accurate storage of exercise-related documentation on Defence systems, adhering to established protocols.
- Micro-Planning: Conduct designated activity/exercise micro-planning and related tasks as directed by Defence staff, with a focus on efficient resource allocation.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- A minimum of 7 years' military experience, including leadership roles in training and exercises.
- Detailed understanding of Littoral, Amphibious, Battle group, and Brigade operations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a coordinated manner.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite applications, including digital exercise planning software.
