Electronics Specialist Required

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying faults in complex electronic equipment, using meticulous testing and analysis to determine faulty components at the chip level.

To achieve this, the Electronics Specialist must possess a high level of technical expertise, including experience with electronics diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters.

A working knowledge of RF and microprocessor circuitry is also essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders using competent written and verbal methods.

The ideal candidate will be able to work within a team and independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet set targets.

Key responsibilities include resolving all technical issues related to faulty equipment, diagnosing faulty units and determining parts requiring replacement, and maintaining accurate records of all replacements.

Achieving diagnostic targets in line with set company guidelines is crucial, as is ensuring that all test equipment is in safe working order and within calibration.

In addition, the Electronics Specialist will be responsible for arranging equipment calibration before due dates and ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislative requirements.

- 3+ years' experience in a similar electronics environment
