Job Overview

A leading provider of data-driven networking solutions for large-scale environments is seeking an Electronics Specialist. Our award-winning platforms deliver high availability, agility, automation, analytics, and security through advanced network operating systems.

The Electronics Specialist will play a critical role in supporting remote engineers and staff, as well as maintaining and improving the electronics lab and managing current prototypes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to remote engineers with tasks such as reworking printed circuit boards, disassembling and reassembling devices, and troubleshooting network switches and IT infrastructure.
  • Develop test jigs & tools to aid in research and development efforts.
  • Support electrical and mechanical engineering validation of current and new designs.
  • Assist with troubleshooting failed test systems and perform board-level rework and repair.
  • Manage hardware lab environment, improve lab processes, and procure and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with surface-mount soldering and reading electronics schematics and circuit theory.
  • Knowledge of networking and Linux.
