Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker in the Wide Bay region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support, prioritizing their needs and preferences.
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
  • Assist with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and managing medications.
  • Offer social support and transportation to lifestyle activities, appointments, and outings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, with a focus on personal care, manual handling, hoisting, and medication management.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential aspect of this position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
