Job Overview

The role of a Financial Services Manager is key to delivering procurement services, financial policy advice, management accounting, and reporting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Services Unit to provide finance and commercial services.
  • Assist with financial forecasting, business risk analysis, and budget development.
  • Support the delivery of procurement activities in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act).
  • Coordinate fleet management, including utilisation reporting, servicing, fuel cards, insurance claims, parking, and infringements.
  • Undertake asset management activities, including stocktakes and asset disposal.
  • Respond to ad-hoc enquiries relating to finance, procurement, assets, and fleet.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Australian citizenship at the time of application.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in a finance role or financial qualifications.
  • Demonstrated capacity to produce quality reports suitable for a range of audiences.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Good organisational, administrative, and time management skills, including the ability to analyze data.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing policy, needs, and resources.
