Commercial Tax Expert Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Tax Expert to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable infrastructure services provider, operating at the core of Australia's transport, utilities, and construction networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lodge income tax returns, BAS, FBT submissions, and manage indirect taxes.
  • Oversee accounting for trusts, partnerships, and related entities.
  • Respond to tax-related queries from stakeholders.
  • Support monthly management reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and reforecasts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years in a mid-tier Chartered Accounting firm.
  • CA/CPA qualified or near completion.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, ATO requirements, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with trusts, partnerships, or complex group structures is advantageous.
