We are seeking an English teacher to join our dedicated team at De La Salle College, Revesby Heights. As an all-boys' Catholic secondary school, we provide our students with many opportunities to develop their skills and reach their full potential.



Salary and Benefits



The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary package valued at up to $136,142, with a base salary ranging from $85,000 to $122,100. Additionally, the remuneration package includes salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually and discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products.



Job Description



We are looking for a qualified and experienced English teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons and contribute to the development of our students. The successful applicant will have the ability to utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress, employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives, and demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student wellbeing.



Required Skills and Qualifications



To excel in this role, you will need to have:




  • a tertiary qualification in Education;
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA);
  • demonstrated ability and qualifications to teach Languages and English;
  • experience in utilising formative and summative assessments to drive student progress;
  • excellent classroom management skills focused on student wellbeing;
  • ability to integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences;
  • highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students, and staff;
  • willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • participation in leadership mentoring and training alongside peers, fostering robust professional relationships.
