
Building Surveyor Professional

This role involves managing technical processes, ensuring compliance and supporting project assessments within a leading consultancy.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing project documentation and liaising with clients to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes.
- Managing documentation, including the accurate and timely completion of job files and office systems.
- Preparing technical reports on compliance requirements and project recommendations.
- Communicating with authorities and councils regarding requests for information promptly and accurately.
- Assisting the Business Unit team with day-to-day management and assessment of projects.
- Managing and maintaining technical processes and operational management of quality health safety and environmental (QHSE) systems.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and governing bodies to meet client and project needs.
- Requirements include:
- Undertaking or recent successful completion of a university degree or equivalent formal qualification in construction recognized by AIBS/RICS.
- Technical competence appropriate for this role.
- Ability to manage own workload effectively.
- Accuracy and timeliness in checking documentation.
- Capability to complete assigned tasks with consultation and approval from a senior professional.
- Effective time management to accommodate client requests.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Initiative to improve processes and procedures.
