Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer to design and develop high-precision mechanical components for our quantum sensing systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the design, development, integration and support of our quantum sensors from requirements through to detailed mechanical design and testing.
  • Work with physicists and engineers to design and implement precision measurement systems.
  • Be part of the team responsible for integration, test and validation of newly commissioned sensors.
  • Collaborate on critical quantum sensing field trials with industry partners.
  • Apply industry standards and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-precision prototype designs including analysis, drawings, tolerancing, assembly etc.
  • Demonstrated experience designing with CAD software such as Inventor.
  • Experience working in an R&D environment with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
