Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Leader to guide our teams in Everyday Banking. This is a role for someone who thrives on purpose, engineering innovation, and people leadership.

This position will involve architecting the future of our customers digital journey with best-in-class engineering, delivering innovative solutions, and leveraging emerging technologies.

Your Impact

  1. Architect the future of our customers digital journey with best-in-class engineering, delivering innovative solutions, and leveraging emerging technologies to shape the future of our payments banking landscape.

  2. Lead and empowerdiverse squads of software and data engineers, fostering inclusion and cultivating world-class engineering capabilities.

  3. Innovate with AI: Drive adoption of GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to supercharge engineering productivity and customer experience.

  4. Influence at scale, aligning multiple stakeholders and teams to deliver product vision, navigating competing interests, and balancing the needs of customers, business, and technical teams.

  5. Own performance, availability, and cost across platforms, balancing tech debt and trade-offs.

  6. Stay close to your craft, as a hands-on technologist, contributing to code & solution design where it matters most to re-engineer the customers digital journey.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • An experienced strategic senior engineering leader that builds, shapes, and challenges the boundaries of engineering.

  • Someone who naturally inspires teams, drives outcomes, and nurtures a culture of creativity and bold thinking.

  • An Engineer at heart who can be hands-on where required during the build, with a track record of designing and implementing digital transformations.

  • Expertise in full cycle engineering, modern technologies, AI integration, and ownership on delivery.
