About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be part of our successful tailings design team, working on a variety of tailings and water dam designs, analysis, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies, geotechnical investigations, and foundation design
- Design and assess mine waste management and water management facilities
- Perform hazard and risk assessments, monitoring, mine planning, and financial appraisals
- Provide specialist and expert opinions for technical issues
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years' experience in geotechnical tailings and mining
- Technical progression in your geotechnical career
- The ability to make decisions on drilling, field investigations, laboratory testing, seepage analysis, slope stability analysis, site closure design, and construction
- Ability to manage planned travel within Australia and internationally
- A valid driver's license and the right to work in Australia
