ADF Rehabilitation Consultant

About the Role:

This position involves providing rehabilitation services to ADF personnel who have suffered injuries, illnesses, or trauma. As a rehabilitation consultant, you will employ a holistic approach to assist clients in achieving optimal health and military readiness.

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans tailored to motivated clients' needs.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with medical professionals for collaborative support.
  • Provide on-site assistance to clients at the Oakey Army Aviation Centre, with occasional travel required to support clients across the Amberley and Toowoomba region.

Key Requirements:

  • Possession of current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies (e.g., AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive clinical assessments.
  • Strong passion for helping individuals achieve rehabilitation success.
