Care Coordinator

At Arcare Aged Care, we are seeking a skilled Staff Scheduling and Coordination Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residences are appropriately staffed at all times to deliver quality care to our residents.
Your primary functions will include:
- Staff Scheduling: Developing and maintaining staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and to meet the care requirements of our residents.
- Managing Shift Changes: Handling requests for shift changes, leave, or time off and finding suitable replacements when necessary to maintain staffing levels.
- Communication: Maintaining effective communication with staff members to inform them of their schedules, shift changes and any updates or important information related to their work.
- Coordination with Management: Collaborating with our facility's management team to align staffing needs with budgetary constraints and optimize workforce management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Ability to manage rostering and team member allocations.
- Experience using employee scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target.
- Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
