Role Overview
As a vital member of the Trade Counter team, you will assist tradespeople in accessing the necessary products for their construction and renovation endeavors while performing various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the branch.
Daily Responsibilities
A typical day includes:
- Delivering exceptional customer service and providing detailed product information
- Preparing quotes for customers both in-person and via phone
- Engaging in pick packing and inventory management tasks
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Occasionally delivering products to customers using a company vehicle
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking individuals who:
- Possess prior experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoy assisting customers both face-to-face and over the phone
- Can efficiently pick orders, manage shop floor displays, and ensure accurate information is provided
- Are comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
- Hold a clean, valid driver's license and are flexible with working various shifts, including weekends
