About this Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Sales and Warehouse Operator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our customers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure efficient and safe movement of stock.
  • Assist with receiving and processing stock, including checking for damage and ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as customer service, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of trade products and services, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.
  • Valid driver's license and forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
