Renewable Energy Project Lead

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the design and delivery of renewable energy infrastructure projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage electrical design delivery performance across projects.
    • Act as primary point of contact for all design work assigned to a project.
    • Liaise with project managers on design delivery, multidisciplinary integration, and design performance to ensure alignment with project requirements.
    • Oversee scope, cost, and schedule aspects of design activities.
    • Implement all project design activities and ensure successful completion of design obligations.
    • Lead a team of designers, ensuring appropriate quality management and assurance systems are implemented.
  • Requirements:
    • Strong knowledge of energy infrastructure, particularly substations, and power infrastructure.
    • Extensive experience in designing, constructing, and commissioning HV electrical infrastructure projects.
    • Expertise in civil, mechanical, control, protection, telecommunications, HV cable systems, and OHL systems components.
    • Broad technical understanding of HV connection solutions, power systems, and electrical networks.
    • Strong estimating skills in developing cost-effective, fit-for-purpose HV solutions.
    • Ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
    • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
    • Chartered Engineer status desirable.
