The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and driven Chef de Partie to join our team at Tombo Den. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of your allocated section and contributing to the delivery of exceptional food and service. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the highest standards
- Ensure the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to deliver exceptional food and service
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to food safety standards and company policies
- Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie in an a la carte environment
- Japanese cuisine knowledge is highly regarded
- Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of food safety standards
- Full-time availability. Willing and able to work rotating roster that includes weekend and public holidays
